Supposed to be Jimmy McStay parading the Scottish Cup at Belfast Celtic, 1921.
Sure it isn't Willie? Jimmy was still a rookie in 1921 and lacks his striking blond hair.
Looks like Wille McStay to me also.

Celtic?

More likely Belfast Celtic going with the socks, surely!?

ps. love pics like this.
It is Belfast Celtic but according to the 'Alphabet' he also made 48 appearances for us as well but my knowledge is not the greatest on this era.

It's Willie McStay  i would suggest this match
The images I'm familiar with of Jimmy McStay are the blond, older player and even though the caption says McStay, I don't see the resemblance at all.

Correct  Nov.1967. The postponed game against Kilmarnock when we paraded all the cups (5), cancelled because of the World club championship went to a third game.

He's playing with BC by then.

A Janny in the Sacred Heart Bridgeton. Seemingly a great goalscorer going by his record who sadly died of hypothermia in 1987.

I stand corrected although they did do a lap of honour with cups twice that year and both times against Killie at CP.

That particular photo was taken before they went to Lisbon and from the game below, strangely enough it was against Kilmarnock were Celtic once again change the hoops into all green because of the clash.

The relevant photograph and of the Cups going round on a car are on pages 4,5 and 8 of the DC Thomson brochure "Celtic Year of Triumph"
