League Cup Final 1965?
Haffey,Dunky McKay,McNamee and Billy Price were away by 1965 so it isn't that game.
One of the Scottish Cup Finals in May 1963? There was a replay that year. We lost 3-0 to the hun.

Brilliant pics.

A young Tommy Docherty second from left at the front.
Pushed by Alec Boden, Come in number 19 yer times up?

Excluding the Doc ... cart horses spring to mind for the rest of them the season before when they were in a relegation struggle.

I think this might be the most appropriate thread for this so here goes.
Out watching the game the other night in my local pub and during a conversation about Celtic games from the past I referred to our home ground as Park head. I was immediately corrected by one of the company and told that I should be using the correct term I.e. Celtic Park.
Now I am well aware of the stadium's actual title and I know that this debate sometimes crops up.I have been following Celtic and going to games since 1975.In the 1970s and early 1980s I very rarely heard our ground referred to as Celtic Park - to me it's a somewhat modern phenomenon.I am open to debate here.

I still refer to it as 'going to Parkhead' and always will.

St Anthony - from your posts etc I know you and I are roughly the same vintage (I was born 3 days after we won in Lisbon) and I think most guys of our age refer to it as Parkhead. BBC used Parkhead in their reports and Rodger Baillie in his" Playing For Celtic" books used the term consistently.
