John Thomson in action, opening day of the 1928/29 season at Dens Park. Celtic are still wearing the black away shorts even though the rule was changed in the summer. Possibly the kit man was not informed of the change.

Met Stevie a few times through the Juniors,an absolute gentleman and one of the best managers in the West.Worked miracles at Ashfield and Medda.
