Is that the line up before the playoff v Racing in the Centenario Stadium in Montevideo? I would guess it's not the game at Racing's Avellaneda ground because John Fallon's there.

T.W.G. and G.R., two stunning pics.Interesting to see it looks like there is individual seats, though they chose to stand.I visited it in the early 90s when we played Sporting,it was just concrete steps.

Something even better JBC

Donoghue standing next to the wee blue devil Alan Morton at the end of the second row is Patrick Donoghue, a Celtic player we have no record of on the wiki.

Played for Celtic, Millwall Athletic, before joining Port Vale in 1922.

No he never played a competitive game for us as far as i can see, he went to Millwall in June 1921.

Another name to add to the players who never played a competitive first team game.

JBC can you add the name Martin Welsh to the players who never played a competitive first team game. If you can do that i will fill in the details. He played more than a dozen games for us in 1960 but is adamant that he never signed.

1)Added the two to the never played lists
2) Created a match page for the Alec McNair tribute match.

Thx all
