Quoting limited to 3 levels deepPosted Image
Tried to look for youtube footage but couldnt find it.

I was at the game and have seen the footage a while back but IIRC our players were crossing the line onto the park from the jungle when the game restarted????
Here's the only highlights YouTube has
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymVq58yp-kg

I have the full highlights on tape and even they don't show the kick off or subsequent chance and save.
My memory was that we had several players still off the pitch when they kicked off.
Here's the thing though; how often do you see a referee restart a match with anyone still off the pitch?
Most wait for both teams, especially the team that has just scored because after all they have just scored and hence won't be in their own half.
But not here.
Yeah thats the one I watched earlier but I'm sure there is other footage which shows the kick off. Was Tom Boyd one of the only few Celtic players in position when they kicked off? I thought it was naive at best from Celtic and the huns were quite right to get the referee to allow KO.

The Celtic board put in an official complaint stating the time between goal and kick off was much shorter than average IIRC :boxer:

Not quite the Hampden in the Sun team of 1957.

Unless we can find out the opposition it's going to be difficult to name the exact year.

Quick stab at the year before 1956
