Season 78-79, huns played their home derbies at Hampden and this game was postponed needlessly because they were in European Cup q.f. v Cologne. Reason given was support safety. Everything evened out though, Cologne knocked them out and 10 Men won the league in May !

I believe that pic is from the 6-1 win over Clyde in May 1971.

JJ
I think this was the game that featured the Lisbon Lions together for the last time. The team was led out that day by Ronnie Simpson but because he was injured, he didn't actually play in the game itself. And I agree about the score - I'm pretty sure it was 6-1.
Was Bertie's and John Clark's last game too. Ten-Therty stole the show, as always. Sat on the ball in front of The Jungle, much to Big Jock's consternation. 6-1, Lennox 3, Wallace 2 and Chalmers. Didn't realise how significant a day that was, do now.

 Pitch had passed the inspection but Queens Park said the stadium wasn't safe. Huns would eventually win the postponed game 1-0

That is from the first half: we were attacking the Rangers end in the second half.
