Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what Joe McBride's goal scoring record was while playing for Hibs?
Think it is 43/67 - Celtic is 54 in 55 - Superb striking rate.

McGrory said Joe was the best finisher he had seen and he knew the odd thing or two about scoring goals.

Edit - See ce's figure stand corrected.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I guess we did let him go too soon then.

Jock admitted to Joe and within the public domain that he got it wrong in his decision to let Joe go.

Can't think of many other instances whereby the Big Man admitted he got something wrong.

The only other time I can recall was when he remarked something about there being more £100k players than he thought around after buying Joe Filipi.
It was a remark that made him look very out of touch withe transfer market.
