Chelsea????
That's what I thought was funny about it

Not only did he never play for Chelsea, he wasn't in the 74 World cUp squad either, infact he only has 2 caps :nono:

He was due to be in the squad but broke his ankle against Basle in the EC QF three months prior.

 thats how a remember it
Junkie was in the papers the next week insisting he never touched Provan. Which may be true, but he did try/
I was near the front of the main (only !) stand for that game - right beside where the incident happened. I've always believed the wee ratbag Johnston never actually made contact with Provan. There was definitely intent there but I don't think there was contact.

Nevertheless, Johnston deserved to be sent off for the crime of being Willie Johnston. :boik:
The Jambo Nazis were in the First Division at that time. Sandy Jardeen and Alex "Good
Scottish boy" MacDonald had taken over and, literally, turned them into mini-huns....

Scumbo bastarts.

I believe that pic is from the 6-1 win over Clyde in May 1971.

I was in the Front Stand for that and it happened right in front of me
I was in the main stand that day and I could not believe the hatred and atmosphere in the ground.
Hearts must have had 10,000 plus fans in the Rangers end and between that lot singing their bile and waving their flags and their team being a bunch of animals,it felt like a huns game.
It was a great day!

First old firm game of season 87-88?. The Beast tried to take Starks' leg off. Think Stark scored the winner after that. I was in the jungle but I'm a bit vague as I'd had a few. :o

Stark's daisy cutter. That was the moment big Stark hit it off with the Celtic support.
Well me anyway.

I think this was the game that featured the Lisbon Lions together for the last time. The team was led out that day by Ronnie Simpson but because he was injured, he didn't actually play in the game itself. And I agree about the score - I'm pretty sure it was 6-1.

I was at the Sept '73 qualifier v the czechs and I'm sure he played in that. Unbelievable then that he never made the squad for '74. Wonder what hun took his place :nono:
Sandy Jardine was the only Hun that made the 74 WC squad. Think there were 4 Celtic players in the squad as well - Johnstone, Hay, McGrain, Dalglish.

Summer 1983 when the new turnstiles at the Stand side of the Celtic End went in or the new roof of 1986.

I think the former, as all the old style concrete and wood barriers got ripped out in in 1986.
I think this is pre 1975. Reason being that I can't see any fencing around the jungle which went up in November 1975.

Maybe some of you have better eye sight than me though.
