That is Bobby Collins on the right?
Yes it is.
Plus Pat Crerand going toe to toe with Billy Bremner on the left.
Denis Law wondering what on earth has just happened.
Didn't recognize Crerand, thank you for the information

There is enough photographic evidence to say there was no trees and its the crowd, actually nuns in the pavilion

If you look closely GR despite what the caption says that's not Sunny Jim Young in the front row.

There's at least three in that line up that would grace the Celtic Way, I fail to see how anybody can talk about Celtic greats without mentioning McNair, McMenemy, Quinn and dont get me started on Willie Maley and some of the early Celts :comp:

I heard a tale that he had been Celtic in his youth.
Any truth in that? :ponder:

What age was Danny there, about 29?

He was supposed to be past his best by 1980, but i remember some truly world class performances from him in the early 80's.

I'd honestly say that his peak could have been anywhere between 1974 and 1984.

A superlative player. There is no hyperbole or embellishment that could tarnish his abilities. He deserved every single plaudit no matter how lavish.

I'm struggling to think of a bad game he played from when I started watching Celtic regularly in 1977-78 to when he left in 1987.

Last cap was in 1982 so it was around then. He was 32.
