I remember the wee lavvy at Clydebank couldn't cope with the volume of traffic and it was so cold that the piss ran down the terracing and froze!! Those were the days'
Luxury! You should have tried balancing precariously on two empty beer cans to keep your feet above the sea of steaming pish at the front of The Jungle.

McStay and Nicholas I reckon.

I think Johnstone had recently been sent off for kicking McMaster of Aberdeen in the chest and had been a bit of a loose cannon in this game as well, maybe even trying the same thing on a Celtic player, at least going in reckless and over the top before eventually being sent off. My memory is a bit hazy though.

John's a good guy who has had a few tough things to contend with in life.

BTW Is the guy 3 from the left in the front row John Reilly? :ponder:

Summer 1983 when the new turnstiles at the Stand side of the Celtic End went in or the new roof of 1986.

I think the former, as all the old style concrete and wood barriers got ripped out in in 1986.

It is John McCluskey and I never twigged it was him. :brickwall:

If you mean John Reilly* that was the Captain of the Holyrood team (which had Alan Brazil and Tommy Lannigan in it), played for the Boys Club and signed for The Sheep - It is not him.

*That John Reilly is now the Headmaster at Holy Cross High Hamilton.
