The West Ham team has seven whose surname begins with "B"... I think Leeds once put out a team in the eighties who had eight whose name began with "H"... Harvey, Hart, Hawley, Hankin, uh....

Not that any of this pertains to Celtic, of course.

yeah October 1979. Look at the size of the crowd
Remember that one only from Tv. My dad reckoned the crowd must have been way higher than in papers that day. He'd never seen Cappielow so full and had been several times to big games there.
I attended the match and it was jammed! Might have been all ticket? I seem to remember that comng in around then as it did away with the boys gate price.... which meant it cost me more!! I seem to recall most away games having large travelling suport from Celtic... possibly just that the grounds were tight as well!! We missed a penalty that day as well!

Remember standing on that terracing - mobbed everywhere and think it was really tough to get in. The official crowd was 18,000.

Morton gave use a few problems at Cappielow when Andy Ritchie was there - we'd lost 1-0 in 78-79 just before Christmas, won 3-2 the season after this and a couple of draws in 81-82.

It's not changed a bit - apart from some seats in the shed terracing and on that big terrace from when they were in Premier League.

Our away support was far, far bigger back in the days

Even in the 90s when we were routinely crap
