The Celtic v Hearts game was 12th March 1983.

The Celtic line-up was:

Bonner, McGrain, Sinclair, Aitken, McAdam, Sullivan, Provan, McStay, Nicholas, McLeod, McGarvey

(I've got the Celtic football companion book beside my desk and I'm procrastinating!)

Hands on hips I'd say was Provan or Nicholas...could well be Charlie and Frank having a natter....

Was that the Scottish cup game. Hearts were flying in the First Division and we drew them in the Scottish Cup. I remember the anticipation about this game, even tho' there was a league between us.
Diets :boik: badge is on the wrong side so the pic needs flipped.

From what I can vaguely remember Johnston was taking peltersand tried to be fly and take a throw in using Celtic's Davie Provan but fecked it up and looked like a dick - He then lost the plot and had a :girlfight: with Provan which resulted in his early bath - He is still trying to figure out what the feck that soap stuff was for.

Edit - Otis has flipped pic above.

Provan used to stand right in front of Johnston as he was taking long throws.
Didn't he follow through with this one and accidently ( :suspect: ) stick the nut in Davie, and was sent off?

Honestly can't remember kj - I remember Provan on the deck so Johnston :boik: may have stuck the nut on him accidentally.

I genuinely liked and rated TC.

Thinking about it Stevie Murray (whom I also rated big time) was retired through injury early 1976.
I can remember seeing TC playing against us - would it have been Morton :ponder:
clydebank

I'm not sure - it was after he left Celtic.
Dunfermline before us where he won a Scottish Cup with his brother Willie also playing and after us it was Clydebank.
 it takes a calton bhoy and a gorbals bhoy to keep the young yins right on KDS

Regards TC, he got some stick from some of our 'fans' towards the end of time at Celtic, but he was always honest and never hid. The huns fans hated him because he always had a good game against them. Dont think he played in the abandoned game at Kilbowie, if it's the game I'm thinking about. I remember the wee lavvy at Clydebank couldn't cope with the volume of traffic and it was so cold that the piss ran down the terracing and froze!! Those were the days'

Boys Club, late 1970's.

I recognise McLuskey and Hannah :ponder:

Mid 70's I think.

Agree McLuskey and Hannah - Front row centre is Peter Mackie.
Celtic Boys Club 1975/76 Stornoway Trip

Back Row (L-R): Gerry Christie, ???, ???, John 'Skelf' Gardiner, John 'Jumbo' Taylor, Duncan 'Dunky' Martin, George Mckluskey, Robert 'Banana' Hannah, Frank Cairney (out of shot).

Front Row (L-R): Alan McLean, Ian 'Goo' Gourlay, ???, Peter Mackie, Kenny Innes (capt), Tommy Bewick, ???.

Other CBC players from this time included Bobby Crilly, John Kirkwood, Willie Marshall, Chris McKendry and Lesley Ross but can't put these names to the faces.

Junkie was in the papers the next week insisting he never touched Provan. Which may be true, but he did try/
