Okay, so he's not wearing the right hoops, but this is a very rare photo of Peter Lamb. He must be the only first-team player (post war anyway) that the Celtic Wiki doesn't have a picture of. He's in the colours of Alloa Athletic.

Sorry, having trouble posting picture.

thanks. Really appreciate the help there

see: http://www.thecelticwiki.com/page/Lamb%2C+Peter

actually, we've a bunch of players throughout the history of Celtic I'm still trying to find pics for. I've been doing a little mini project to try and find a pic for all those biogs where there is no pics.

Found around ten so far. Getting through the rest best I can.

That was a nightmare. Remember me and a few others had a Celtic club going in our wee village. Nothing seemed to go right that season

Folks, loving this thread but any chance of a caption to accompany some of the images, particularly the older and maybe more obscure ones?

Was told a story about big John Fallon and his hostelry.
he would often allow a group of guys who had been exercising their greyhounds the use of his lounge bar so long as the dogs were tethered to tables and chairs and the like.
On one given day a local "character" who'd been refused service for some time came in and was peeved that the dogs were allowed in and not himself. He was sent on his way by John only to return later, popping his head round the door to enquire....

"Hey Fallon!! Am I still barred?"

"Aye now get lost" was the reply

....only for the guy to hurl a ferret into the bar among all the tethered dogs.
Cue pandemonium as the dogs pulled pint filled tables over, chairs amid a cacophony of yelps and howls as the dogs vainly tried to chase to poor ferret. The dogs apparently made a bit of a racket too.
