Surprised he didn't sign it take it on the chin rather than be lucky. His testimonial was a horrible day out. I've had a loathing for Middlesbrough ever since. Can't say I'm fond of him either.
No need for that.

Now thinking its the 1928 Scottish Cup Final when they hammered us 4-0, which means its only Alec and Johnny Thomson in the photograph.

I thought that was Bertie Thomson partially hidden but he signed a year later. guessing that is Fleming Archibald and Meiklejohn for them.

That's a fantastic pic, one of the best pics in nearly 2000 pages with a direct link right back to our foundation.

John McKillop served on the Board from 1921 to 1941. His uncle William McKillop was a founding father.

Robert Kelly served on the Board from 1932 to his death in 1971. His father James Kelly played in our first match, was our first captain and started the Kelly dynasty.

Tom Colgan served on the Board from 1906 to 1939 when he retired to go home to Toomebridge and be elected onto the Belfast Celtic Board. Was involved with the club right from 1888.

Tom White served on the Board from 1906 to his death in 1947. Founding father John Glass left his shares to his protege and fellow member of the Home Government Branch of the Irish National League Tom White on his death, Started the White dynasty.

John Shaughnessy served on the Board from 1911 to his death in 1952. (Longest serving Board member over Tom White by a couple of months). His father Joseph Shaughnessy was a founding father and lawyer who sailed the club through many murky waters in our early days.

Willie Maley served as player, Match Secretary and Secretary Manager from 1887 to 1940. No description is necessary.

In order 20, 39, 33, 41, 41 and 53 years of service.

227 years of service from just six Celtic men.
Incredible.
