Help needed for wiki purposes...

This pic said Morton V Celtic on it.

Could be Cappielow but can't recall Morton ever playing in a strip like that.

Could it be Tynecastle ?

Crowd doesn't look too big either.... :ponder:

Cappielow for me with the only thing missing being that big crane.

Possibly this game with it being a challenge/friendly match which would explain the strip and the very poor crowd of 3000 when we normally packed the stadium with nearer 20,000 in em days.

Glasgow team v Sheffield, Shawfield, September 1901

Dickie (Rangers);
Battles (Celtic) and Davidson (Celtic);
Smith (Thirds), Neil (Rangers), and Templeton (QP)
Crawford (Celtic), Campbell (Celtic), Hamilton (Rangers), Wilson (Thirds), and A Smith (Rangers)
Could you put them in the right order please :lol:

Well done :thumbsup:
Finally managed to get my hands on this photograph today,

Photographers name round the margin is W. J. Furniss Jnr 256 Lansett Road, Sheffield.

Can you check the next year or previous years team as it now appears the photograph was taken at Bramall Lane rather than Shawfield :thumbsup:

Cracker of a pic from the US Tour of 31.

The Mayor has done well to get Maley out of a Celtic picture.
