This isn't flag day 88, it is a flag day but the unfurled flag for 88 wasn't on top of the Jungle, it was in front of the Celtic end.
Edit - and they didn't come out in a car that day either. Check out the black car in front of the jungle
Edit again as memory kicks in! - they might have come out in a car, so this might be McGinn and co trundling past the Jungle after the flag ceremony.
Sorry about that.

Yes, Big Yogi equalised for us late on 1-1.
Sad sad day for us Denny Bhoys, 17th March 1996 - Young Lawrence Haggart passed away the same day

The Flag day for winning the League during the Centenary was presented as you say in front of the Celtic End on August 88 against Hearts in a 1-0 win. Macca scored. The same vehicle in that pic was used.

Forgot about that.
Horrific again.
There was a minute silence for him before the Monday night 5-0 against Aberdeen (the Cadette night).

The thing I remember about 86 is that I don't think we actually lifted the trophy. We unfurled the flag but no trophy.
At half time two ball boys walked round the track holding it.
Amatuer doesn't even begin to describe it.

That's the first goal, Stuart Gray wide to McKinlay, cross in and a Donnelly header.
Superb performance that night, the first of many crushings Aberdeen suffered at our hands.

The things I remember about that day are the two ball boys wandering around whilst We Are The Champions sqeaked out of the worlds worst PA system, Albert Kidd getting a roaring reception and the gale of laughter that swept round as the news of Souness getting sent off came over the radios.
Sadly that was about as good as it got that season.
