Could be three: the partially hidden on left could be Ronnie Glavin ? :ponder:
would Glavin not be at Parkhead by this time?
at that time Ronnie was still with Jags.

? Player? Supporter? making off with the opposing teams crest?
Alex Mathie, reserve forward, had a great strike rate in the reserves but could never bring it to the first team.
However he was a great success at Ipswich in the early 90s and was one of Keegans first signings when went to Newcastle, scored a few belters for them as well before being dropped for some guy named Cole.
The strip suggests it's around 85-87.

this pic was take in Bellinzona on Easter 1988, when Bobby Lennox and John Kelman travelled with the Reserve team for a swiss international. After the round, They beat Napoli in semifinal (after Lennon's son missed a penalty) 2-0, and team was defeated in final 1-0 by Internazionale fc. there were 2 celtic fan into Bellinzona stadium, wearing hoops nad flag. Me and my swiss friend Claudio. After the match we had talks with Lennox and Kelman and we spent a couple of hours talking about the Celts. i remember we told 'em about the semi of SFA cup, and Bobby told us:"we'll beat Hearts and we'll play Dundee utd in final". Pity he did wrong. :ph43r: There is any info on the next week Celtic View. After we travelled home, we decided we cannot miss the chance to travel in Glasgow for the final week of season. So we travel via train and we took a long journey starting in thursday (for me at noon) and arriving at Glasgow Central Friday at 7,30 pm. we lived a dream !!!
Bhoy in pic is Alex Mathie.

Ian Rush Testimonial.
I wouldn't have said this was his testimonial - the image looks far too bright for a midweek game in December - and I think Rush looks younger in that pic.

Rush testimonial

A horrible evening - was a decent day in Liverpool but we were absolutely terrible that night and our fans indulged in a high level of Tartan Army only there for the party atmosphere. Coming a few weeks after the Raith debacle it was a rough spell.

Spot on. Will never forget Dalglish coming on and outpacing Mark McNally.

Dalglish was 43 at the time :ffs:
