Anybody know the story behind this poor lad?
wee fella is from Ayr , Connor I think his name is . Think he has spina bifida and that was an operation to lengthen his legs and straighten his feet. He goes to Queen Margaret Academy and is a mad keen celtic supporter. He was on the front page of the Daily Record running a leg with the Olympic torch a couple of years ago.
thank you

This is Prague, April 1967?

Edit. Bits of Celtic Park, being refurbished, in background.
So, not Prague then.

I could have been looking at that image for a year and wouldn't have spotted the traine :brickwall: rs
I was at that game, and it doesn't stick in my mind as having been particularly cold. Maybe that's because *every* game at Pittodrie was particularly cold!

Would I be right in thinking I recall it as the first time an SC game was televised live other than a final?

Edit: I'd forgotten there was a 0-0 replay, but I went to the second replay at Dens, which McClair's goal won for us. I recall it as a really terrific game.
What parts of the ground did we get at Dens Park again for the replay? Memory tells me i was in the Dens "Jungle" part. Might be hallucinating though.
Think Aberdeen got the home part behind the goals and prob some of the main stand, giving us the rest.

Note the date of our foundation in the 1916/17 Handbook. It said this in Handbooks right up to the late 20s.
September 1887.
