League Cup final 86-87.

Alan McInally jumping and Tony Shepherd on right of pic, who got sent off later with Judas.

Never forgive Rambo for blowing a 3 on 1 breakaway that would have won us the game before extra time and sendings off.

When you have Johnston and McClair on either side of you, do you pass to A or B? or C do take the ball on your own and lose it?

rambo went with C

McClair scored, Shepherd sent off and Judas too for making the sign of the cross (with his wrong hand).

That turned the season around for The huns.
Davie Hay was so furious with Davie Slime's refereeing he wanted to take Celtic out of Scottish football!
I have made the same argument many times about that game, we should have had that game wrapped up and McInally blew it.
Dziekanowksi is in the same boat after he passed up a one-on-one in extra time in 1990.
Still ragin after all these years (apologies to Paul Simon).

It's always very difficult to state who our greatest player was, particularly when you were born in the early 60's in the era of the Lions with truly great players such as Johnstone, Murdoch etc, but to me this man is up there at the very top. One of the first Superstars of football. I was always brought up on the legend that he played for the hun, apparently he did, in a testimonial match towards the end of his career in the 20's.

We should start a support group. It would involve alcohol.
