One of the last pictures of Willie Maley as Celtic Manager 1939.

Posted Image

A rare pic of Willie Maley after he left Celtic.
Forgot to menchie.
Willie Maley's outfitter's shop on the Gallowgate is still standing.

Also Michael Dunbar who played in the first ever X1 in May 1888 and went onto become a director owned The Celtic Bar on the Gallowgate which also still stands.
It's now The Wee Man's.

I was at the replay, my first big game, 72,000 at it.

Is that McNeill at right back?
I was at that game as well. My first "unescorted" game.

I think you were a bit in front of me. :ph43r:

Macari scores against Dunfermline 1972.
Has it ever been common for us not to wear hoops at home?

I was at the famous Sporting Lisbon game, and we had to wear a change strip - for obvious reasons. But at other times?

It was common place from Stein's time onwards when we played Dunfermline, Morton and Ayr that we changed into a mixture of all green, all yellow, yellow/green and green/black.

It's taken to extremes now. Imagine wearing the away kit at Tynecastle !
