Taken from the net so not the best quality.

Who's first to guess the scorer and opposition ?
Charlie Nicholas in hungary. Not going to make an attempt at spelling the name of the team.

Tannadice Boxing Day 1987, we won 2-1 thanks a diving header from Joe Miller with a couple of minutes to go.
No TV there that day though :shakefist:

I know there are pictures that you can tell straight away what match it was but it never ceases to amaze me that an innocuous image is posted and you (& many others) can tell the match, year, sometimes even the time the goal was scored, makes me feel like the guy who never paid attention in school at times

V Patrick Thistle, I think.
Two would be huns and one would be Celt playing for Thistle there.
McKinnon, McAdam. Rough.

The home game was my first ever Celtic game. 0-0 at halftime and we ended up winning 6-0.

No that was me, in fact that's the reason I can tell you about these photos!
Walker only scored once up there when we had that strip, so that narrows it down quite nicely.

that is an amazing shot Elvis
I'd never have known if you hadn't said - but then the penny dropped. Those houses are still there and Rugby Park still has that part of the ground - it's next to the away end where Celtic go now and the stand where tv cameras are. thanks
