Found in Andy C's outstanding collection....(From the Celtic Graves and this parish)

The 1891/92 team.
Standing in front of the pavillion at the original Celtic Park?

I'm interested in what is behind Willie Maley's head?
The fence seems to have a gate doubled back, possibly the entrance to the "tunnel"?
Is that a diagonal stairway to the "Director's Box" which was directly above the tunnel?
It seems to stop halfway.

Is the picture taken at X below?

1906/07 Scottish League Champions winners medal awarded to Celtic's James Young

A circular medal, to the obverse with 'SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP CELTIC F.C. WINNERS 1906-07' with enamel central shield and flags, the reverse with illustration of football match in progress, hallmarked, Vaughton & Sons, 9ct gold, ring suspension. Approx. diam. 30mm.

James Young (1882 – 1922) was a right half for the highly successful Celtic side of the early 1900s. Young made one appearance for the Scotland national football team, against Ireland in 1906. Young's career was ended by a knee injury suffered in 1916. He died in a motorcycle accident in his native Ayrshire, aged 40.

Odd photo that one.
At a guess I would say it's close season or pre season 1990, only because the training tops look like they are from that time and there is no advertising in front of the terracing, that was installed during 90/91.
But it looks like the terracing has no barriers, suggesting they were being renewed so maybe someone can date that.

I'll be in that photo somewhere as a horrifically hungover 20 year old.
I was right in the centre of the old Celtic end, most bizarre game ever as the red cards started to rack up in the second half.
