For a second there I thought the man in green was Mick Martin, the Irish center half :ponder:
The reason for that would be that it is.
He was Brady's assistant.
Thankyou Volvic, would you believe me if I said that I was testing you
Hmmmmmm :ponder:

I can remember coming off a bus from Hamilton on a Saturday night and I would phone my wee maw from that phone box to let her know that everything was fine and what did she want from the Chinese? But one night a big polis stopped me and told me to get my erse round to King St. right away for an I.D. parade. I went into the Chinese and ordered the grub and then round to the Polis station in King St. About an hour later I was five bob richer and a taxi up the road to the hoose and a a great Chinese. Every time I came aff that bus I was looking for a polis to take me round to the line ups and get my five bob! (25p) to all you youngsters, but a pint was only 1/3! (7p).Great memories. Thanks to all posters.God Bless me wee maw r.i.p.xxx

From 1950, I like the 'Other Sporting News on page 10' comment as if the tripe above had anything to do with sport :boik: Incredible to think that a sizeable proportion of that dead clubs support still believe that pish.
isnt that a fake, (might have seen it on here before), the trick being, to read the first letter, down the left hand side.
or am i being a whooshee? :ffs:

I (shamefully) left this match with less than 10 minutes to go... their end was in full song and we'd had enough..... didn't even get onto Edmiston Drive from the old enclosure when a roar went up..... polis wouldn't let us turn back........ 2 min later another roar...... serves me right :ffs: Big Roy didn't see the end either!!

Think this was first game vs the dead ones
Opening of one of the now crumbling stands?
Did Alan Sneddon get the equaliser maybe

that's the one. They opened the Copland Road stand that day. Doyle nearly won it in the last minute as well!
