A sending off? or the ref could be showing the lads the correct way to do the Saturday Night Fever. Three Celts in that picture, Fulton?

Thank you for that MB
Yip. Was the one nil game when we got presented the trophy, Macca scored in the first 5 mins iirc. Unlike today, we got the trophy before the game started.

Jim Leishman did a great wee poem about Jinky. It was in a programme for the Lions anniversary dinner in 1992.

It ended something like,

Round and round like a writer's scribble,
What worth Jimmy Johnstone,
The master of the dribble
Pedants corner - it was Chris Morris who scored in that game, a shot from outside the box.

Two all that game. I think DiCanio scored two penalties iirc

edit - PVH scored two

Edit - there was a 2 all game a month later and DiCanio scored a pen. I give up. Crap memory. I prefer my recollections of games anyway.

That's alright

I was 10 at the time, so memory isn't that great. I think I'm mixing up the scorer and time of the goal with a game we played against Stranraer that year.
