49 seconds in :o "the player really ran ito McDonald!!!!!"
Scrupulously fair baw high challenge

Shocking
Just watched that Easter Road footage - took me back

As if I wasn't depressed enough after last night :nono:

as we've said before on this thread, the 77-78 season was a nightmare and not the one to go to every game but you can't choose these things and it really did make the good times that came later, much sweeter.

Oh and two-goal Tony Higgins is a huge Celtic fan.

Thank you for that MB
Yip. Was the one nil game when we got presented the trophy, Macca scored in the first 5 mins iirc. Unlike today, we got the trophy before the game started.

Jim Leishman did a great wee poem about Jinky. It was in a programme for the Lions anniversary dinner in 1992.

It ended something like,

Round and round like a writer's scribble,
What worth Jimmy Johnstone,
The master of the dribble
I don't know anyone who doesn't like Jim Leishman.

Pity the Celtic-Dunfermline relationship was soured in recent times with John Yorkson after the links we had with them (Stein/Callaghan/McNamara).

OK, without cheating, I think I've got half of that Forest wall: Steve Hodge, Ian Bowyer, Garry Birtles and Peter Davenport.

Any help with the other four?

We did and I'm sure you can look to the Masterton/Yorkston era for the downfall in relations.

Going to ring my mate, as Leishman wrote a few poems in this programme. He has a few, all signed, lucky effer. Think one was about Ronnie Simpson as well

Regi from 1999, am I looking back with rose tinted glasses if I said he would have been better than any of our midfield last night?

Far left is Steve Wigley and big guy at the back is Paul Hart.

Goalie was Van Breukelen.
