James Kelly and Tom Maley on the boat returning from the USA Tour in 1931.

PS How do we know it's the return journey?

Another ebay still of a 1920's Celtic Keeper, anybody put a name to him?
Willie Miller?
If it is a 1920's keeper it definitely isn't Willie Miller who signed in the early 1940's - Possibly Shevlin but I don't know.

Think Cairney's book says he disembarked at Moville not Derry and then got married in St.Pius in Moville which is not* the site of the present St.Pius in Moville.

Wedding was all put in place by the Greens of Greens Playhouse fame - Jimmy's first wife was Veronica Green - She died fairly young in an operation to try and conceive and is buried in Dalbeth not that far from Jimmy himself.

I know CI and flc know all this.

Where you not watching the McGrory wedding from up in Cooley CI? :ph43r:

*I asked the locals.

Any word on where they came from or who had them before they fired them on e-bay in case they have other unearthed gems?

The seller has listed all the slides CB. I have just asked him but hes a major dealer and seller of everything that's no nailed doon, Auction i would think.

Your right there was a few unseen gems. The plan is to give our club the chance to have them blown up and placed at vantage points throughout the stadium (fed up looking at Simon Donnelly  and others of that ilk)

For the future i would like to think that Celtic WILL build a state of the art museum and these type of images will be framed and placed in the foyer with others blown up for everyone to see.
