Just noticed the posts mentioning 1965. :ffs:

Slight problem; Celtic didn't play at Firhill during the calendar year of 1965, unless it's a Glasgow Cup game??? :hmmm:

It's my fault about the 1965 thing. I had put that year down as a rough guess on the photo file.

However...done a bit of digging and like Otis can't see Louie and Faither in the same team at firhill.

Leads me to thing it may be a midweek Glasgow Cup tie possibly. Either that or it isn't wee Louie.

The mystery deepens.... :cartuja:

If we can't solve it I shall refer it to my learned friends at the Celt fanzine.

Is this Cathkin Park ? Can anyone confirm ? Also who is the Celt in the centre with the dark hair facing John Clark ?
Firhill 65/66

It gives me great pleasure to say that I have the original of this photo.

It's Bertie Auld facing John Clark by the way. Trust me, doesn't look much like him but it is.

Cheers mate that clears it up.

Some photo. That sky looks almost biblical. Just waiting for God to pop his head through the clouds and shout ''Mon the Celtic !'
