Yes.

It's far too late for Divers. It's Macari.
never too late for Divers and far too early for macari

edit to say c1965 sure Macari never got his 1st game until 68
That game is possibly late 60s (who said it was c1965 ?) and it's 100% definitely Lou Macari. It's definitely not Divers. Where's Caltonbhoy when you need him ? ;)

Jimmy Bone looks on as Stuart Rennie takes a cross at Fir Park, Scots cup replay, March 1974.

Now how many Celtic websites would you see a picture of Jimmy Bone ?
I was unfortunate enough to see Jimmy Bone play for Celtic  :twitch:

He's a serious challenger to the likes of Biggins, Cascarino and Hugh Maxwell for the title of worst 'striker' I've ever seen in a Celtic strip.
Agree, Jimmy Bone certainly wasn't one of JS's greatest signings.

Jeez a roof at Firhill...wonder why they took it down ?
Barely covered the terracing....

JJ
Wasn't Firhill at one time used for greyhound racing.

Got a feeling the cover behind the goal was connected to that, not unlike Shawfield.

Is this Cathkin Park ? Can anyone confirm ? Also who is the Celt in the centre with the dark hair facing John Clark ?
It's Firhill

Stunning picture
Yep. Definitely Firhill.

The player facing Clark is Wee Luigi.
Macari only played three times at Firhill:

16/02/70: Celtic 5, Thistle 1

27/11/71: Celtic 5, Thistle 1

14/10/72: Celtic 4, Thistle 0

which were all Saturday matches (thanks MS Excel :) ).

Problem: Clark and Macari never played in the same team at Firhill; last record I can find of Luggy playing at Firhill is 14/10/67. :ponder:
