Peter Lawwell was on the Mike Galloway Testimonial Committee. This was Galloway getting his cheque. 1996 was the year.
The other photo was Amaral with Cadete.

Remember this game well. We were 2-0 down in 10 minutes, it snowed like the Arctic and Brian O'Neill scored a peach of a header to win it 3-2 in the last minute.

 Thought that was him. I went to school with his son.
Who is he? I remember him appearing on Top of Pops in 1982 with the Scotland World Cup squad. Was he some sort of light entertainer type?
I think the guy far right on the front row is Radio Clyde's Bill Smith who was also the match day DJ for DeidCo. Standing behind him could be Davie McParland

Is that the 'infamous' Burnley away game?

Looking at the police and players faces and the fact the game had stopped it could well be...heard there was a wee bit of bother
at that game.

Aye well, there was a large business adjacent to the ground called United Domestic Appliances. They were in the habit of leaving their co. initials lit up at night which caused a right stooshie until police advised them to switch it off.
