Jim Cruickshank saves a Tommy Gemmell peno at tynecastle.
I was behind that goal as a young lad with my dad and his pals, I clearly remember the save, the game finished 0-0, I have to admit I looked up the date and it was March 28th 1970. if I remember one of the Hearts players got sent off. I always thought that Jim Cruikshank was a good keeper who should have had more caps, I believe he only had a couple.

Thanks for the memories!

I take it Doc that we are of similar age, I have to admit to being jealous of ye Glasgow living Celts, would have loved to have been a regular visitor to CP.

We actually left Glasgow in 1967 and moved to Wales. We were in Scotland visiting friends and relations, so unfortunately my trips to Celtic Park were rare as well.

You can take the lad out of Maryhill, but you can't take Maryhill out of the lad!
