Couldnae believe it when i seen this thread dropping off the page the day, thought it had run its course, would have been a shame considering the rarity of some photos like the first ever pic of a British International Football Match (played at Celtic Park 1894) and the second ever pic of a Celtic Team which was the 1st pic ever seen of them with the stripes (1889), plus many more of great interest to us Tims.

Im sure guys like GR etc will do their best to keep it going and hopefully when it does run its course (and only when) the mods will consider making it a sticky. :thumbsup:

You wont see it at CP these days and it hasn't been there since as far back as when McCann arrived i reckon.
Th old butchers apron flies above the North stand now. As the flag of the country we are obliged to fly it from the highest vantage point.

This explains why it used to fly above the main stand when that was the highest point.

Agree with this. I'm sure no club is obliged to fly any particular flag let alone the butcher's apron.
