Roy Kay and Ian McWilliams :ffs:

A young Peter Mackie.

I would date that as Sept 1977.

Any idea of the date for this newspaper clipping? My first ever Celtic game was a 1-1 draw against Aberdeen on 23 August 1986 and this might be the same game. (Celticwiki doesn't have much on the game)

Fabulous pic, but kind of bemused by Doyle's centre of picture arms aloft pose given that he fecked it up pretty bad that night.
Bobby Lennox's 11th League winners badge I do believe.
I think i read somewhere that Doyle had to be dragged back out by his team-mates as he was really down that he could have blown it. Would we have done it with the full 11? Sometimes 10 gives you that drive!... we'll never know. Wee Bobby with a bottle of Tennents
Fair enough.
Meanwhile Peter Latchford's gut hanging out!
Fitness schmitness!! Amazed he hasn't got a full cargo and kebab next to him never mind a single bottle.

That game you are talking about was levelled by a deflected Murdo McLeod freekick.
If you want a copy of that game PM me.
