A postcard from 1902 does this qualify for the team line-ups?

Some kind of Victorian/Edwardian postcard nonsense by the look of it, they could hardly get a team together in them days never mind a boys club, someones came up with a idea in the hope of a wee earner, maybe someone will tell us the real story behind it.

This is a puzzler FLC.
Teams aint dressed in Celtic or Rangers strips of the time which wouldnt have been that much bother to put one in blue and one in green and white stripes, so i wonder where the Celts and Rangers reference comes into it.

It says something on the ball.

A long shot but...

There was a Stirlingshire Junior Consolation Cup competition in 1902. 2 teams by the names of, Alva Albion Rangers and Bannockburn Celtic were involved. Maybe that's why the "Celts" and "Rangers" are shown in inverted commas.
