The poor hun on the left is having a temper tantrum or a meltdown or both
Clearly he has just dropped his pie, which is quite obviously a catastrophe (also TC has just put us 3-0 up which can't have helped his mood, never mind a few goes on the karaoke machine and he will be right as rain).

One of the lasting memories of Seville, when the Possil Bhoys spotted a few undercover cops from Maryhill division at the airport :boxer:

I remember my uncle told me Celtic had beaten the huns with half our first team rested and I thought we had beaten them with only 5 or 6 of our players on the field(which he probably could have) and that our"gay babes" hadn't replaced them.

Following posting some of the images my friend gave me. I am posting more stuff with regard to the hall at St Mary's as per Fitzpas request.

Once again, these aren't my pics and the comments that i am providing with them are my friends notes. So, if there are discrepencies, then, don't ask me, as i know very little about the subject.

Firstly he always thought it was a manse house. The church at 600 Gallowgate, was a Church of Ease for the St John's Burgh CoS, then was bought by the Methodists after the schism of 1843? it was sold to the Methodists in 1851. The Manse house was sold to a William Walls Christie? It was built by a D Hamilton, who was also responsible for the building of St Johns Burgh CoS, built in 1817. The Gallowgate Church was built in 1822 as was the mansion. It was not needed as there was a manse house for the original church, at can't read the writing terrace. WW Christie rented the upper part of the hall/house out to the CoS, then the methodists, who built their own house and hall, right behind their church in 1892 or 1896.

Some pics to do with the sale of the hall.

Amount sold for.

Manse house where the money was deposited

Now i have a copy of the will of William Walls Christie, i think it reads 1851 and has a sketch of the house. I will post that tomorrow, as i will need to ask my friend how this works, in terms of laying it out. It also has a description of the house. Mitch, t-rm-31? No idea what that means.

Now here is a sketch of the house/hall, but, with one important but, by the early 20th Century they are trying to transform it into a shed/warehouse, as you will see. This picture comes from the Standard Property Investment Company (no idea who they are?). The house looks fairly simple, two levels.

Spoiler: click to toggle

The proposed plan was unsuccessful and by the first few years, the house was still a house.

I posted this the other night, but, it has a few extra bits, but i can't be arsed looking through 600 odd pics tonight. But by then, i think this is 1954, the house is not a house, it's a one storey warehouse/shed with some of the original outer walls. So just putting that in more context. Note to self, what is now deemed as 67, is to the extreme left of the building, is the rest just warehouse and that an office?

Spoiler: click to toggle

This is the new storage unit, to the side of the house.

Spoiler: click to toggle

Tomorrow night, i will do the William Walls Christie will, owner of the house, with description and sketch. And if i have time, some tale by a contemporary of the building called Hawkie?

This has taken me over an hour or so to do. So, that's why i'm semi reluctant/can't be bothered doing so. If people have an interest in this, i will post all of the St Mary's stuff he has given me this week. Next week i will post all of his stuff on the two Celtic Parks, like the stuff i posted the other week, with a few pics, early strips and a painting.

Edit: Partial plan of 67 East Rose Street, by the Standard Proerty Investment Company, who owned the building. No date, sorry.

Spoiler: click to toggle

My friends note: is this where it happened. Note. front door to the left of the building again and through the kitchen
