The look on people's faces, they knew they were in the presence of greatness :worthy:
Is that when Jock went into the crowd to ask the fans to stop singing some certain songs?
I was at that game - Annfield (Stirling Albion).

A lot of the sellers would sell from suitcases, cuts out the overheads.
filled rolls, rosettes and of course, macaroon bars and spearmint chewing gum.

naw I'm no buying that. Round the doors with an Indian guy with a beard I will accept, but not at the game. Macaroon bar and spearmint chewing gum sellers carried them in cardboard boxes.

I'm off on a tangent now, but did anyone here know any of the business community involved in theses enterprises. I would love to know how they made a few bob when celtic park became all seated.

I remember the chewing gum and macaroon bars being sold from a cardboard box.
I also remember that manky basturt that sold the filled rolls, lugging a suitcase round the Celtic end.
It is hard to imagine the level of hunger required before even contemplating buying dodgy rolls from a clarty suitcase, although I am sure someone will admit to it! :boik:

Talking about naming players here's another beauty :rocker:
Some state The Rangers End is in there, that must be just before the re roofed and re terraced it in 1968?

I just remember the old huns end before the new terracing went up. Its amazing how more level it is than the old bigot dome. Used to love going there to hump them although leaving was always scarey

Trying to figure out who that is with Vic, have it narrowed down to young Towell but looking for confirmation?
