2008 Celtic Park, almost looks like a staged scene.

Pretty sure he scored from.the header. If I remember rightly, we won three nil and Watt scored two on his debut. Was pretty pushed that day though. Railway Tavern is a good boozer.

If this was Twitter I would retweet that to death

You tend to forget that the away support at both grounds in those days was 20,000+. Atmosphere was exceptional.
Yeah.

I'm too young to remember the old Ibrox, but I remember the days when we got the whole Free Broomloan, the west enclosure, about a quarter of the main stand and about a quarter of the Govan, which must have totalled about 17,000 of the 44,500 capacity. It really felt like we had taken up camp in their back garden. It's not really like that now. You feel like you're Custer at the Alamo.

I also recall the sheer mass of humanity (a loosely applied term here!) when the huns got the whole Rangers end. Usually it was sparsely populated, and about half full when United, Aberdeen or Hearts played.

As loathesome as they are, when the huns arrived with their flags and banners in tow, you knew it was a massive day. It was quite a sight to look across and see how packed that end was. Must have been the same when we were at Ibrox.
Did Celtic officially get some of the e Govan stand or was it just that A lot of Celtic fans bought the tickets since the huns couldn't sell their tickets?

Celtic were allocated part of the govan. Pre souness the huns were staying away in droves!

Amazing to think it now.

Also, given the need for some seats to be given up for segregation in The Govan and main stands, we probably didn't have that many less seats than they did.

If we would have had around 17,000, they'd have had about 25,000.

The look on people's faces, they knew they were in the presence of greatness :worthy:
Is that when Jock went into the crowd to ask the fans to stop singing some certain songs?
