There was an old TV series in the 70's called Thrillseekers narrated by Chuck Connors where people would defy the odds by putting themselves in harms way, this would be a prime example of thrillseeking.

who is the guy (partially hidden) next to Bobby Lennox?
Atholl Henderson or whatever his name was. Keeper with a blonde perm type haircut.
athol wisnae a goalkeeper or I'm really losing track with reality. I'm sure he was a less than tricky winger. Free transfer from St Johnstone, made about two appearances and then put on the turnstyle at at Janefield st entrance.

He ended up working for years as an SFA youth development coach with Dundee Utd and St Johnstone.

(Not sure if I've done this right, or if this one has been posted before)

Celtic Park from the air, 1952

Source URL: https://twitter.com/Groundtastic/status/447090211768369152/photo/1

The guy's twitter account is worth following, some cracking pictures of old grounds across Britain

Edit: baws! :brickwall: just follow the link, I don't seem able to post the image. If someone more soberer than what I am can, please do.

That link's got a picture of Benburb's Tinto Park either side of the 1952 Celtic Park. Lat game to be played at Tinto before it's knocked down will be on 29 March.
