Not sure its League Cup semi. Looks like CP to me, at the Celtic End.

You can tell by the barrier at the front just above the wee white wall - look at wee kids just inside left post sitting on it and sticking their heads thru.

I remember Mark Reid scoring against Aberdeen at CP in 83-84 (1-0) maybe that is it?

It wasn't.

This would be... I'm guessing a couple of years before it was done up in '86.

My guess would be 1984-1985.

Maybe early '86 at a push.
This wall was put up before the front was done up ,in the early 70s the stairs leading
up into the celtic end where part red ash ,if you went to the right it was more red ash
on a slight hill wich during frosty weather was a nightmare, the wall in those days
was defo different from the one in picture I would say that went up early 80s.
That sounds plausible. I can vaguely remember the red ash, although I don't know why.

My first time in the Celtic end would have had to have been around early 1985. Maybe late 1984 at a push, but even that seems unlikely.

The first time I can recall with clarity being in the Celtic End was the Janefield riot game. A miserable, bizarrely low key affair with a dull atmosphere.

I think the attendence was only just over 40,000. Bizarre for an old firm game in the days when the ground held 67,000.

Carboard standee available through Shoot magazine dating back to 1969, I managed to get a average quality one on E Bay a few years ago for £9 but if you had it in plastic with the magazine it is worth £50 plus. I believe there were two other Lisbon Lions available in this form, Jinky & Bobby Murdoch.

Caldwell: 'where am I?
VofH: 'O jaysus it's going to hit me'
Donati: 'I've just washed my hair'
McManus: 'Bring it on!'
Aiden: 'Hail Mary full of Grace, Hail Mary full Of grace'
