McStay & Gravesen, the lad with his back to us could be Shaun Maloney
Elvis, is this Albion Rovers?

Pretty sure that's Cliftonhill - with the fans watching from outside ground at top of pic - and it was Gravesen's last game for us. He was playing with second team and got hooked

That's what you get for £50k sometimes - its not always a guarantee. Loved his goal against Deidco at CP but he had chucked it long before this

I honestly thought it was a training picture, especially with Willie McStay present, I would cede to your knowledge on this

This looks like Hibs at Hampden.

Maybe Drybrough Cup final - the one we lost. There would just always be fights breaking out and then you'd get one of those horrible spaces opening up. Lot of gang culture in Glasgow then, lots of drink taken into football. Celtic fans would fight with each other.

Have to laugh now when you think of overkill of Green Brigade trouble. There was much more mentalness going on then. Try picking out 22 people from that rammy on CCTV!

think this is your straightforward Rangers fans causing bother :nono:

it's the Rangers end at CP - maybe late 60s - and they usually started throwing bottles down from the back on their own fans after Celtic had scored and kids had to jump onto track to get out the way.

After a while the polis started putting up temporary barriers behind goals to stop this sort of stuff.

When the ones at the back start piling down onto the pitch that's when you had trouble - like the Hampden riot in 1980

I remember it was a really sunny evening - can't remember where first team were, but that's why McStay was in charge of development team.

A fair tackle in Scottish football, Tommy is illegally outplaying him which is in fact foul against him.
no, this is a final v Red Star Belgrade in Australia Tournament, 1977. Kenny was at home to discuss terms with Bob Paisley. MCGrain became our captain. if i don't wrong. :ponder:

You could be right Boretim!

That looks like Red Star strip and TB is wearing No10 on his shirt and we didn't do that in domestic games at that time, only European
