See Aitken's response to Souness's assault for a proper Celtic captain's reaction to hun thuggery. :boxer:

Celtic Wiki
"Shortly after the interval"

Right enough.

I was convinced it was earlier than that.

I do think I might recall it being very early on in the second half now I've seen the report, but I was convinced it was around the 25 minute mark.

The pre-sevs were defending the Celtic end goal.

He probably should have been!!

The funny thing was I didn't think he had been booked in the first half, I thought it was Roberts, so I was astounded when the red was waved under his soon to be rebuilt nose.

A happy day.

our reserve keeper was ally mcknight for both home old firm that season. and he played 3 OF on centenary season. i really was surprised when the in summer McNeill sold him to buy Ian Andrews..... difficult be a sub with packie on goal, but after mcknight, we missed a decent keeper on the bench for some years.

Got my head burst open standing in the West Enclosure at a game in the mid 80s . Pishing down with rain ,made it look like I'd been hit with a hatchet. Worse...we got gubbed 3-0
