Celebrating another victory against the dead hun at their midden, jan 2nd 2011.
Our last victory there. Kayal was immense in that game.

What hope we all had for him back then.
Forgot about that DBTB, did he ever perform that well for us again?

1974/75 season
Proper fixture list.
Games on a Saturday.
Managed to get to every game on that list . None of the ticket allocation nonsense to worry about.
Teams were happy to take our money.

He was our best player in the second half of that season and had only just come back from a long injury lay off too. I was at that game, we had a good few players out and they were strong favourites. No one gave us a chance. One of my favourite football days out in recent memory.

I think we lost to the huns at Ibrox 0-3 at New Year then lost to Motherwell the next week which killed off any lingering hopes of winning 10 leagues.

You're right.

The New Year game was my first ever time at Ibrox. Dreadful memory.

Then we just collapsed. I can remember the day Deidco won the title; They did it at Easter Road, by the end of March, and we were beating the Diets 4-1 at CP. It turned my stomach watchin them celebrate it on Sportscene at night (I was young, in later years I'd just blank the telly when they won the league).

Went to most of those games but i've just looked up the records and checked out 74-75 and it's only when you see it in black and white, it sinks in. We had only lost one game up till that trip to Ibrox (to them at CP) but after it the wheels came off.

We won three out of the next 11 league games; drew at Arbroath, at home to Dumbarton, lost at Aberdeen, home to Dun Utd and even lost at Airdrie the week before to gift wrap them a title
