1973 LC SF; last Celtic player ever to score a hat-trick against Deidco.
Pouring wet night, Celtic fans in the uncovered - big surprise- Celtic end dancing around doing "Singing in the rain!"

If we could beat that mob, how did we lose the final to Dundee?

Rather topical at the moment :ph43r: although this time it was a smoke bomb thrown into the Celtic support at Tynecastle, 1988.

Initially thought it was Mick McCarthy but he is too small, settled on Mark Reid.

We were lucky to get that far; that was the first season the top two in each section progressed to the next round... Deidco won our section. Re. the final: it was a one o'clock kick off on a baltic, pishing wet Saturday in the middle of December; looks like Dundee wanted to win it more.

Not many Celtic players good enough to play for Scotland, seems to be a pattern :ph43r: no matter what decade you look at.
