Got this from the official St Mirren website, SCSF at the bigotdome 1963, they won 3-1. Sad to say that this is being talked about as one of the great successes of their club all these years later. Assuming the still is of the Celtic support, surely there aren't that many St Mirren supporters
I was at that game. We were losing 3-0 when, sad to say, there was a lot of crowd trouble at our end that resulted in loads of people coming on to the park and the teams being taken off. That image looks as if it was taken while all these problems were going on. It took a long time to get things calmed down and we managed to get a goal after the game was restarted. But if my memory serves me correct, because all the trouble had been started at our end, the Celtic officials had actually conceded the tie to St Mirren before the teams came back out.

Another great still from Jimmy's page, is that a young Pakie Bonar in the white fur?
Think that could be a hip Jim Brogan back row next to Jinky
Think Jinky is between Jimmy Quinn and Evan Williams.
Vic Davidson, Quinn, Jinky, Williams
Far left middle looks like Willie Carr but guess it's not, Kenny, Rod the Mod, ?
Dixie.

Celtic players? I'm going to stay out of this as I would have embarrassed myself with the last one I posted (Clyde)
Donald Watt is second from right.
pretty sure that behind Ian Wallace in the 2nd row is John Burke - Holyrood PE teacher - any ex Holyrood punters confirm?

I was at that game as a young man . The Celtic support went in the in hope of reaching a final and puting an end to a miserable time following the Hoops .When it went to 3-1 the Celtic end went crazy , if I remember correctly the referee stopping the match a couple of times because of the crowd trouble .

No idea of timeframe or opposing team, is it even Celtic?
Deffo Celtic, Joe Dodds on the right.
Opposition looks like Aston Villa.
The running track is still there behind the Rangers End (check the size of it!!) and it was removed in 1913 so its pre 1913.

Definitely Joe Dodds - Other Celt could be McNair (albeit a bit too big for him) so maybe Sunny Jim (about the right size).

Agree Villa.

Idle curiosity here but is this John McNamara, Jackies dad and former Celt?
Jackie McNamara Snr - Eddie Turnbull and Pat Stanton had a fall out which Jock got wind of - Jock finally landed Stanton after years of trying with McNamara going the other way.

Judging by the corner flag - that is Celtic Park. But which part of the ground is it?Corner of the enclosure, in front of the old Main Stand, at the Rangers End is my guess?????
