I have to say that I can't remember seeing a picture where Berti isn't smiling.
That was probably before your time on here ce but that was very important to Kds - It was a cheque being presented to the wonderful Sister Rita of St.Margaret's hospice in Clydebank on behalf of Kds in memory of auldbhoy :worthy: who was and still is a Kds and Kds Wiki legend.

auldbhoy worked sheer magic on the Kds Wiki for years for which every Celtic fan should be eternally grateful - He very sadly died of cancer and the hospice looked after his care.

Ten Thirty had been down to visit him and kindly offered to present the cheque.

There is a thread on auldbhoy which you should read if you ever have the time - He was a remarkable Celtic man although he was too modest and had too much humility to realise it. :worthy:

auldbhoy RIP
^^^^

johnnyc313 - I know Tim Waits or somebody said it at the time but you do look like Ten Thirty's minder in that pic. :rocker:

Your auld fella is sadly missed mate.

I meant to ask, is that Georgie Best in that picture, not sure, I left my glasses at work?
That's him alright but that pic is reversed for some reason.
is it reversed? the lettering on the stand is correct as is Big Roy's number 4... was there a wall at the Celtic end/stand ... it's the 5-0 semi final from 1980 isnt it?

If you are looking at the main stand then the Celtic end should be to the left.

And as we all know to our cost it never had a roof on it.

I know those colors are Patrick Thistle, would their nearest player be Alan Hansen (who looks like he has just enjoyed himself too much  )?
Glavin and Jardine the other Thistle players.

All the pics of the Grant stand I'd seen before showed it from the pitch.
Yes, it's the first time I've seen a photo of the Grant stand from London Rd, JJ. A really good image

I guess the date goes a long way to explain the lack of traffic!.

Good guys spotted -

Back row: Jimmy McMenemy (flat cap) think that might be Charlie Shaw next to him? Eck McNair, Jimmy Quinn (coat on)

2nd row: Peter Johnstone (coat on), ? Think thats Mulrooney the goalie next to Sunny Jim Young, ?

3rd row: Will Quinn (Trainer), Willie Loney, Willie Maley (Manager) ? Davie Hamilton (ex good guy who left us the year before :cuckoo: ) Joe Dodds,

Front Row: Joe Cassidy, Patsy Gallacher and Andy McAtee.
Can't say much fairer than that FLC.
Got yer Davie Hamilton mixed up wae yur Alec Bennett and widnae go wae Charlie Shaw but apart from that a very good piece of work.

:i_say:
:arrr:

Start again.

Pretty sure this is how they line up plus Bennett.

Got to be in the Inverness rags and will have a look next time i'm up the mitch. Him up the back wae the dicky-bow is annoying me.

I was at this game, biggest cheer of the day was when this maniac attacked Strachan , we saw "velocity" that day as the wee man took to his heals

Keep me out of it - I have enough problems.

Think it is Marr and not Jardine but don't think it is McAdam but then it could be him or Somner (with slightly different hairstyle) or at a stretch Glavin so basically feckedifano. ;)
