That last point about the minute's silence....how cynical do you need to be to extrapolate all of the tosh that emanates from an alleged request for silence?

There is no guarantee we'll beat Kilmarnock, let alone draw the Huns in the semis which would allow us to forego any clash over a minute's silence in a final. In fact, there is no guarantee the Huns will be in any semi or final either!

Decent point about Strachan going, and it seems plausible what is being suggested about Boruc. The stuff about Arsenal and Man U is nonsense though. Wenger has 4 goalkeepers, and despite everyone else's lack of faith in them, he certainly doesn't lack faith in them. Boruc doesn't strike me as having the mentality to be a Fergie type, despite the fact he has played well most of the times we've played against them.
Boruc doesn't have the mentality for Fergie? Fabian Barthez anyone?

Cantona?

Keane?

Lee Sharpe?

please tell me you're not comparing Roy Keane's mentality with that of Artur Boruc...?

Can we maybe not rob the Etims (they are Tims, remember) site by posting full stories on here?

What's wrong with a link and maybe a comment so folk can go and read it on the site that made the story in the first place?

I find outright theft of somebody else's work vaguely Hunnish.

Any thoughts?

Mods?

Anyone?
The mods ruling is when pasting articles paste the link on the same post.

A lot of people on here complain that the ETims site is down quite often :blueoyster2:

While the site has a Sebo far too often, posting the whole story and then a link is no better than a guy in the pub selling bacon / aftershave / flowers from a grave telling you where he nicked it from.

I know a lot of people who feed their families on what they sell, photograph or otherwise create.

Makes me a bit touchy.

I think we would prefer a link to the original site when absolutely necessary, but we understand that it can be hard to access e-tims at times, and that some people are at work and prefer the anonimity of our office setting . To be honest, it's only in exceptional cases such as Gaudds surprisingly excellent and detailed article that we encourage other sites work to be debated on here at all, and we're wary of being used by other sites ( not e-tims in this instance for all you sensitive souls reading this ;) ) to access our sizeable membership. We will continue to monitor each thread which has a source from any other Celtic forum/site to assess it's value and relevance to us.

Hadn't thought of the potential for exploitation by other sites.

It's a tricky issue.
