His last gasp header against Rangers last season was a thing of beauty though. Towards the end of the article he claims Hull, who were about to face their impending doom against Everton, had enough class to stay up. They just got trounced 5-1 and I think they will make the drop instead of Wolves and co.

Always very complimentary about Celtic but his last season was just an extended version of his first two. Never fit, hardly mobile, occasional threat. Thanks for the TB season but with hindsight, we should have cashed in then.

A wholehearted player that had Celtic in his blood. His last minute goal against the Huns will always be one of my best memories as a Celtic fan, up there with Centenary season, beating Man Utd, Juve etc.

I'll never, ever forget his last minute Hunskelping and winning the league at Tannadice, and it's a shame we were never able to properly say goodbye to him.

Considering retirement Posts: 6,541 Group: Snr. Member Member #18,011 Joined: 13 April 2008	Jan always put his heart and soul into it for the team, and probably season 1 will be his fondest remembered. In saying that he was dreadful in his last season, and bogged down with persistent injuries. He has as much lift off as a one winged hover fly.
