The Scottish FA can confirm that the appeals over the sendings off of Scott Brown, of Celtic FC, and Laryea Kingston, of Heart of Midlothian FC, have both been rejected.

In accordance with the provisions for Claims of Wrongful Dismissal, the referee, Dougie McDonald, was requested to review the circumstances of Scott Brown’s sending off against Rangers on Sunday, 28th February.
The referee has indicated that he is content with his decision.

Similarly, the referee, William Collum, was requested to review the circumstances of Laryea Kingston sending off against Aberdeen on Saturday, 27th February. Again, the referee has indicated that he is content with his decision.

Is there a further appeal process, like going to an appeal commitee?

Theres a shock.

What still annoys me the most is streak of piss Lafferty not even getting spoken to by the ref.

I honestly thought we would have won this as it's immaterial now and the SFA would be able to say "See, we arent bigoted'. The only problem is - they are bigoted.

That's exactly what I was thinking, or do we just ask the referee to admit he made a feck-up!

... despite not being able to see the incident in question.

Hunreal.

My only hope in all of this is that we get no small mercy until eventually our board have to do something massive.

If it means taking it on the chin a few more times this season then so be it.

I just hope there is a greater good to come out of all of this and that our board have plans in place.

When Laffety was on the ground Brown should have put his studs through his face, at least then there would have had a precedent we could use to back us up.

Disgraceful.

Can I just state that while I realise Brown's red card was a poor decision and the main talking point, BOTH red cards were absolute fallacies.

Me anaw. He had his hands all over Brown. If the ref reviewed the footage to give his judgement he must have seen that.
