I'm new. Be gentle.
Peter Carr of East Kilbride, a long-standing member of Heriot-Watt & Edinburgh Universities CSC, a founding member of the Celtic Trust, a long-standing, very patient and faithful season ticket holder, and an all round great guy, died this morning after a very short illness.

Anyone who knows Peter will remember him as one in a million.

Please remember his wife Irene, the weans and the rest of his family at this time.

Peter, we’ll miss you.

RIP

I worked with him on Celtic stuff, and I am proud to have known him. It was shock yesterday to hear he was very ill but much worse today when an e-mail announced his death.

He was a committed, bright and utterly good guy who loved the club and its supporters, and who stepped forward and toiled selflessly to achieve representation for them.

RIP, Peter my friend. You will be missed.

My God, that is sad, sad news. I remember back in the very earliest days of the Celtic Trust meeting with him semi-regularly to get updates and do interviews for E-Tims, NTV... Cracking bloke, hugely passionate about Celtic and utterly dedicated to the club and his fellow supporters.

Last time I spoke to him was a few years ago now, outside in the freezing cold deciding what to do next at stupid o'clock in the morning following the HWEUCSC Tommy Burns Supper, pair of us utterly panelled. A great night and one which again he'd doubtless been involved to some extent or other in making happen.

Will be sadly missed.

Didn't know Peter but coincidentally was told of his death by a mutual friend tonight. He was in his early 40's with young children. He really hadn't been diagnosed for long at all. Awful thing.

Very sad. A young man whose family have my deepest sympathy.
