With the huns ten points clear it can be easy to forget the moments when we've nearly died laughing at some of their results and embarrasing antics. What's your top 'hun humiliating memories'?

I'm an eighties kid so not much to shout about in the nine in a row years (apart from their Champions League results of course). I haven't picked out anything from a time in history I didn't watch the club (like beating Rangers for the title with ten men for example). Here's my top three:

1. Sutton chips Klos in injury time and Rangers go down in history having lost six games in a row to Celtic.
2. St Petersburg's second goal in the UEFA cup final followed by the riots.
3. The night we won three in a row and Nacho Novo was sent packing.

But what are yours? ...

:suspect: What happened there! :ponder:

Back in the bad old days when we weren't so good we played the HUNS twice in a week, once in the league and the other the Scottish cup being the underdogs to win 2-0 and 3-0 was well  St Patrick's day massacre. If me memory serves me right there were 5/6 sending offs over the 2 games. :ponder:

i think it's to signify that the poster is the 1st to post on the thread - may be hopelessly wrong, of course, but it seems de rigeur on other blogs

on topic ...

i won't go on about great celtic wins over TFOD, as wonderful as they always are

but one of the funniest skelpings of the hun i've ever enjoyed was the sheep's 4-1 scottish cup win over jock wallace's storm troopers in 1982 - a strachan-inspired doing, IIRC

their 1990s' champions league campaigns also still live long in the memory

and i particularly relished ian durrant's fine record in charge - played one, lost one

Sutton's glorious chip having brushed off De Boer Mark II like a soggy rag doll. The biggest ever moment of delirium in watching the Hoops and the feeling of a level of domination over them that has been unmatched before or since in my lifetime.

It also came during a lusty chorus of "Can You Hear the Celtic Sing?" as the Orcs thought they were escaping with a point. :lmao:

Roy Aitken scoring a late equaliser at Ibrox (to make it 2-2).
Their flags and scarves were up giving a loud rendition of

"UDA all way, eff the pope, and the IRA..." at the time.

Watching them all come dowmn felt nearly as good as the goal!

In before the lock down.

In recent years coming from behind to beat them 3-2 and then go on to snatch the league from them.

Butcher's own goal at CP to equalise after Walters had scored a penalty for them is still a big highlight for me

One of the very best Hun humilations came this year as a team or Romanian brickies absolutely pumped them in their own midden. The sound of the Cesspit alive with a cacophony of boos is very sweet indeed.

I watched the highlights and remember seeing Novo going to take a corner at either 4-0 or 4-1 and he was doing his usual cheerleading act. I don't think he expected the huns to give him the fingers and tell him where to go
