Would you be willing to contribute £15 annually to Celtic to support a sponsorless hoops, if you knew that this £15 would offset the associated shortfall in sponsorship revenue, and that the £ raised would be used just as the sponsorship £ would have

As a follow up poll to the Short Sponsor poll and as a result the related discussion attached to it we now have a further poll to gauge the general feeling of supporters about contributing an annual fee to support a sponsorless hoops (as suggested by TeddyB_NY). Again this isn't intended to cover all possibilities but might be an area worthy of discussion or at least a starting point.

Why not?

Pay out over a thousand pounds every year on Celtic. Wouldn't mind going the extra £15 to have sponsorless hoops.

I'd love to see a charity sponsorship, like Acorns at Villa or UNICEF for Barça. Cannae see it though tbh.

No.

This thread only exists as a direct consequence of our board's complete and utter unoriginal bargaining position when it comes to "joint" shirt sponsorship deals.

I said yes but I know it'll never happen. The sponsorship money is guaranteed and the board will never turn down guaranteed income.

Would be more than willing if it meant no more sponsorship deals involving the Huns.

No chance. We are mugs enough to be shelling out on all the merchandise (I bought my son the Keane 7 - sponsorless - tap, and he is a Partick Thistle Nil supporter. Well, apparently kitbag posted it 6 days ago and it still hasnt arrived but that is for a different rant)

On the theme of sponsorship, I would have no problem with an Arsenal type deal to change the name of the stadium

Don't have a season book but would be willing to do pay 15 quid just so that we don't associate ourselves with that shower of shampooe. :tirade: :shakefist:

I suppose it would substitute for me actually buying the jersey, which I have decided to stop doing anyway.
Anything to distance us from them is good in my opinion.

I'd pay that, whats £15? I can widdle that up against the wall on a couple of pints and a kebab after work therefore I can pay it to avoid the association with the huns. As a side note it would be a great GIRUY to that lot if we, 3 years down the line and after tennents-gate (too soon? :ponder: ) were able to pull this off.
